Oldenburg and New York - RedDot Solutions AG has signed an acquisition agreement with Hummingbird Ltd. (NASDAQ: HUMC, TSX: HUM), a leading provider of integrated enterprise content management (ECM) solutions, headquartered in Toronto, Canada. The RedDot Solutions executive management team remains in place under the leadership of Niels Metger. As a subsidiary of Hummingbird, RedDot will retain its strong brand and product line and will continue its strategic direction as a leading provider of ECM solutions for midmarket organisations. The combined companies will continue to invest in the development of RedDot’s market leading CMS, XCMS™ and LiveServer™ product offerings.
RedDot will benefit considerably from the agreement, which extends its more than three year partnership with Hummingbird. As a subsidiary of Hummingbird, RedDot will have increased access to new customer groups and flourishing markets, including Asia and South America. Consequently, RedDot will grow its worldwide market leadership as a provider of enterprise content management solutions for midmarket organisations. Hummingbird will gain additional benefits from the strategic integration of RedDot content management technology into its scalable enterprise solutions.
