RedDot's Customer Care Team Named Finalist in Prestigious Stevie Awards
10 May 2005
Enterprise Content Management Provider Recognised as a Leader in Customer Service by International Business Awards SM Committee
New York - RedDot Solutions, a leading global provider of Enterprise Content Management (ECM) software solutions, today announced it was a finalist in the Best Customer Service Organisation category for the 2005 International Business Awards. RedDot’s customer care support team was recognised for providing the highest quality support service during a period of enormous growth. RedDot achieved more than 50 percent revenue growth in North America over 2003, with the fourth quarter of 2004 reporting the strongest fiscal performance in corporate history.
The International Business Awards, also known as the International Stevie Awards, are the only global, all-encompassing business awards program honoring great performances in the workplace. Finalists for the International Stevie Awards were selected from more than 600 nominations in more than 30 countries.
"Fully dedicated to our customers’ satisfaction, RedDot regularly institutes new processes and technologies to ensure that they receive first-class care," said Detlef Kamps, president of RedDot Solutions. "We are honored that the Stevie Awards committee recognises our commitment to service for both new and existing customers. This award further validates our strong reputation for superior customer support and service."
RedDot’s customer care support team uses a 24-7 ticket system available on the client intranet and takes a multi-tiered approach to ensure that all customer needs are quickly addressed. This includes monitoring and auditing all calls to the product support line to ensure that bottlenecks are alleviated and that personal service is delivered as quickly as possible. The use of an automatic call back feature eliminates the need to put a customer on hold while they wait for the next available support specialist.
"This year we saw a greater international representation among the entries and this is reflected in the number of countries that are represented in the winners’ circle," said Michael Gallagher, founder and president of The Stevie Awards, the organisation that runs The International Business Awards. "We congratulate all of the Finalists and International Stevie Awards winners, and we look forward to honoring them for their achievements at our gala awards dinner in New York on May 19."
Industry recognition for RedDot Solutions continued in 2005. Most recently, RedDot was named a Strong Performed for Intra- and Inter- net initiatives in Forrester’s Web Content Management Internal Sites Wave in the April 15, 2005 Forrester Wave report, "Web Content Management, Q1 2005." KMWorld recognised RedDot as one of the "100 Companies that Matter in Knowledge Management," and EContent magazine named RedDot a "Top 100 in the Digital Content Industry."
